✅ Benefits
-
Variety of coil types included
The kit contains 7 different coil builds (Alien Clapton, Framed Staple, ChainLink, various Fused Claptons, Juggernaut, etc) each made of Ni80 and all with ~3 mm inner diameter.
-
This gives you flexibility to experiment with different coil styles without having to build them all yourself.
-
Good for trying different vaping styles (direct-lung, high wattage, flavour chasing, etc).
-
Consistent quality & convenience
Because these are pre-built coils of known specifications (resistance values, core/wrap configuration etc) you save the time, skill and effort of building from scratch.
-
Example: one listing shows “42 coils per pack” including 6 of each type.
-
One specification list: resistances like 0.20 Ω, 0.30 Ω, 0.32 Ω, 0.34 Ω, 0.36 Ω.
-
High performance material: Ni80 (Nichrome 80)
-
Ni80 is a popular wire material for power mode vaping (wattage) because it has good conductivity and relatively fast ramp-up compared with some other materials (depending on build) — giving strong flavour and vapour production.
-
Because these coils are built by the manufacturer, you can be more confident in their build parameters (though you still need to check and install safely).
-
Example spec: “Material: Ni80” for all the coil types in the kit. dampfi.ch+1
-
Value bundle
Buying a full set with 7 types means you get multiple coils for different styles in one kit. The value is typically better than buying individual single-type coils.
-
Simplifies trial & error
Instead of buying many separate coil types one by one, you can test different builds (claptons, staple, chain link etc) to see what gives you best flavour / vapour / ramp-up / battery demand.
⚠️ Things to keep in mind / limitations
-
Material choice: Ni80 means wattage mode, not (necessarily) temperature control
Many users note that Ni80 (nichrome) has a low TCR and is not suited for TC (temperature control) mode. Reddit+1 So you should plan to use these coils in wattage/power mode, unless your mod specifically supports Ni80 in TC (which many don’t).
-
Massive builds = heavier ramp-up / more power required
Some of the coil types (e.g., the “Juggernaut” or “Framed Staple”) are high mass. Higher mass coils take more power (or longer) to heat up and wick properly. Good flavour but might require higher wattage, more battery draw, more juice consumption.
-
Compatibility / fit matters
Inner diameter is 3 mm for these coils. You need an atomiser deck that can handle that ID and coil mass, plus good airflow and wicking to get the best performance. If your device is more restricted (MTL or low watt) you might not benefit from some of the larger builds.
-
Quality & safety
Although pre-built, you still must check for hotspots, correct installation (no shorts), proper wicking and ensure your mod/battery setup can safely handle the resistances (some are low ohm ~0.2Ω) and power demands.
The listing also warns: “This product is intended for experienced vapers... It is important to use batteries that fit your build, especially when using mechanical mods.” JWare
-
Not universal “all-purpose”
Because you have 7 different build styles, some will suit certain airflow or wattage setups much better than others. You may find some coil types in the kit are not optimal for your specific tank/RDA or airflow configuration.
🔍 Bottom line
If you are a vaper who enjoys rebuildables (RTA/RDA) and wants a ready-to-use pack of high quality Ni80 coils across a variety of build styles, then the Dovpo 7-in-1 kit is a strong option. It gives you great value, variety, and uses a respected material (Ni80) for power mode.
However, you should ensure:
-
Your device (mod/atomiser) supports the required power and coil mass;
-
You use it in wattage mode, not rely on TC unless your device supports Ni80 in TC;
-
You are comfortable with install, wicking, and safe battery/resistance practices.
