The intelligent functions of the NiteCore UI2
The individual charging modules ensure that all batteries receive the right amount of power. The NiteCore UI2 has a charging capacity of 800mA or 100mA. When you charge a battery with a voltage below 2.9V, the charger will automatically activate the 'Low Current Charging' mode. When you charge a battery with a voltage higher than 2.9V, the charger will use the standard mode of 800mA. As such the life of the battery is optimally used.
But that is not all! The NiteCore UI2 has many more functions. If the battery is inserted upside down, the three indicators will turn red and the charger will not charge the battery. Also if the charger becomes too hot the UI2 will change the charging capacity. This protects both the charger and the battery, As soon as the battery is fully charged the charger will automatically stop charging. Great!
Practical functions on the NiteCore UI2
The charging indicators always show you the current charging status. As such you can quickly see how full the battery is. With the NiteCore UI2 you can also reactivate deeply discharged Li-Ion batteries. As soon as you put the battery in the charger, the UI2 will check the battery status. After this check, the charger will start charging the battery. As such the battery will receive the right treatment.
Because of the USB connection, you can easily charge the battery with a micro-usb cable. Because of this connection, you have a lot of charging options.
